Programme 20: This Time it's Personal

This is our final programme of 2019, which we have subtitled 'This Time It's Personal'. What we mean by that is that we're going to be more self indulgent than usual and devote a whole programme to ourselves – our own lives, our own thoughts, our own interests. So if you stay tuned you'll hopefully get to know the Forest Radio team that little bit better.

First, we take a very brief look back at some of what we've done this year, the campaigns in which we've been active, the people and events we've covered, the young singers, musicians and creative artists to whom we have given interviews and space in our schedule, the reports we have featured on such issues as homelessness in the borough and all the different kinds of art exhibitions, poetry readings and music gigs around the borough, not to mention our 4 complete multi-topic programmes completed in 2019 (not including this one).

This programme ends with a message from Jean about her first book, It's Never Too Late a collection of 24 of her short stories. If you would like a copy you can contact Jean at jean.duggleby@talktalk.net. It's £6.00 per copy, local post or delivery free.

It's been a busy and productive year for Forest Radio and we would like to thank you for keeping us company and for staying on our very important mailing list, without which we wouldn't be able to tell what we've been doing and what we're planning for the future. We wish you all whatever you wish yourselves for the holiday period and the New Year.
