      Programme 14

Our longest programme ever!

First, an interview including live performances with singer/songwriter and musician Alba, whose new album Leap of Faith came out on Friday 7th of June.

Next, interviews with two members of Waltham Forest Extinction Rebellion, Lucie Brown and Rob Stuart.

Following that, three items recorded at Waltham Forest Community Hub on Orford Road, including a description of the work the Hub does, an item from Sandra Jerome, Chair of Starlight Musical Theatre Company, and a story from Ethel, at 84 one of the Hub community's oldest volunteers.

We then return briefly to something we have covered before, the Wetlands Archipelago Art Project, which has resulted in an exhibition of paintings at the Wetlands Visitor Centre as well as several spin-off projects.

We next take a look at the E17 Art Trail, which was at the time in full swing, including an extract from the Opening Ceremony at One Hoe Street when Council Leader Clare Coghill made her extraordinary outburst and used a very un-lady-like expletive.

We then have our usual roundup of coming events in the borough and play ourselves out with the song 'Such a Night' as a tribute to its recently deceased composer and performer, Dr. John. Enjoy!
