Description and Credits

The Music Hall course of which this public performance forms part has been running at the Mary Ward Centre for about 40 years! It is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the Music Hall genre (and is brave enough to perform in front of an audience). The group are a diverse bunch – professional actors alongside talented amateurs. The course leader is Bob Higgs and the accompanist is Andrew Charity.

The Mary Ward Centre is at 42 Queen Square, London WC1N 3AQ.

The credits below were kindly compiled for us by Fiona Slater ("Please Leave My Butter Alone" and "Two Lovely Black Eyes") who is a student on the course and one of the performers. She says it was a fraught atmosphere behind the scenes thanks to the combined problems of Covid and the Central Line being suspended!
